Um... maybe not!

Manchester City will be on alert as reports are surfacing that Kyle Walker is ready to leave his current club Tottenham Hotspur. The England International has been linked to a move to the Etihad for months now, but the transfer does not appear likely due to the North London club’s huge asking price.

Around £50 million is the proposed fee, but this is outrageous for a right-back. City will hopefully see this and decide against pursuing his signature. That money could be used on a goalkeeper or several more full-backs.

Kyle Walker is seen by some City supporters as one that would not fit into Pep Guardiola’s system, which backs up the argument that the 26-year-old is not worth his unbelievable fee.

Many other clubs, such as Manchester United and Barcelona, will battle it out for the Englishman, but the Sky Blues should stay away from this one. They could snap up a less expensive player in that position who is more fitting for the new tactics being implemented.
