City closing in on Walker transfer?
According to the London Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Walker has held meetings with manager Mauricio Pochettino to discuss his future at Spurs, maybe to get a new, improved contract. The interest from City is strong and Walker is Pep Guardiola's favorite right-back target. According to Sky Bet, the odds of Walker joining City are more likely than him staying at Tottenham.
Odds mean crap, but this transfer may really be happening.
City, Juve favorites to sign William
According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, only Manchester City and Juventus are considered favorites to sign Sporting midfielder William Carvalho. The 24-year-old is Guardiola's ideal replacement to Yaya Touré, while Juventus want William to replace Sami Khedira, who could be moving to Major League Soccer this summer.
Sevilla not willing to sign Nasri on permanent transfer
Manchester City loanee Samir Nasri is not expected to stay at Sevilla, who considered a permanent move from the Frenchman a few months ago but have now decided not to exercise their option to sign the player due to his major drop in form in recent weeks. The £24 million fee asked by City is too big for Sevilla, and Nasri will either return to the Etihad from his loan or be sold elsewhere, possibly to China or MLS.
