Manchester City faced a tough test against Southampton, but after creating many chances in the first half, the Sky Blues scored the goals in the second half to pick up three vital points in the Premier League table.
Winning 1-0 after Vincent Kompany's goal, City sat back and waited for chances to kill the game on the counter attack, and they did it to perfection. First, a spectacular sequence of passes unleashed Kevin De Bruyne, who gave Leroy Sané a tap-in. The young German couldn't miss.
