After a long awaited conclusion of the international break, Manchester City return to action in the Premier League with a tough match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Coaching controversy has surrounded each of these teams throughout the season, as neither Pep Guardiola nor Arsene Wenger met their astronomically high standards: Pep isn’t leading City to a league trophy, and Wenger is struggling to keep Arsenal in Champions League contention.

Pep and Arsene will look for a win against each other, and here are a few players who could help them do it:

David Ospina

With Petr Cech sidelined once again due to injury, Ospina will serve as Arsenal’s shot stopper against City this weekend. He wass Arsenal’s Champions League keeper this season, but hasn't played a lot in the Premier League.

In his lone league appearance for the Gunners this season, which came two weeks ago against West Bromwich Albion, the Colombian goalkeeper conceded three goals. Ospina needs to be on top of his game when facing a City attack that refuses to back down.

David Silva

With Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling a bit off fitness due to minor injuries suffered in the international break, Silva will be relied upon to create City’s chances in midfield. Silva has displayed his top talent over the last few months, and his creativity with the ball is amazing. Look for the Magician to affect the game again if City are to pick up three points.

Alexis Sánchez

Alexis is one of the best forwards in the Premier League, and he has developed into Arsenal’s star player. Even with his massive numbers (18 goals and 9 assists in the Premier League alone), Sánchez could be looking to leave the club this summer if he can't achieve success with the Gunners.

With rumors surrounding the Chilean’s possible destinations, it remains to be seen if Alexis will be an Arsenal player next season. Whether he leaves or not, Alexis will want revenge the 2-1 loss at the Etihad this season, especially if this is his final game against the Citizens as the Arsenal superstar.

Sergio Agüero

After he finished last season with 24 goals in the Premier League, Agüero had a tough stretch in the middle of the season, but after Gabriel Jesus’ injury the Argentine has 7 goals and 2 assists in his last 7 matches in all competitions.

In a game that is vital for City’s top-four chances, Agüero must keep up his rate of production against an Arsenal defense that will focus on shutting him down. If El Kun manages to pull off a solid performance, look for City to snatch the three points.
