Report: Manchester City confident in signing Tottenham Hotspur full-back

Tottenham Hotspur’s Danny Rose has been linked with a move to Manchester City for some time now due to City's weaknesses in his the left-back position, and according to the Sunday People, the Sky Blues are becoming increasingly confident that the Englishman will sign in the summer.

On top of being enormously talented, Rose fills the homegrown quota, which is good but also a problem when it comes to his transfer fee. Reported figures currently stand at around £50 million, an astronomical price for a player in his position.
