Pep Guardiola has made a fantastic move and personally called one of Europe’s top rated young goalkeepers, Brazilian Ederson Moraes, in hopes of luring him to Manchester City according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola.

The report claims that the Etihad is Ederson's most likely destination as a deal has nearly been completed with a fee of approximately €40 million being agreed by both clubs. The young keeper will certainly be handed a starting role on Guardiola’s team next season.

This transfer seems almost imminent at this point in time. Both parties are evidently interested in the thought of the move, and this should end with the Brazilian goalkeeper putting pen to paper and moving to Manchester in three months.

This is not the first time a Brazilian player has received a phone call from Pep to complete his move to City. Pep also decided to give Gabriel Jesus a ring, which in turn saw Jesus pack his bags to move to Manchester.

This proves how incredible the Catalan is as a manager. Personally stating your interest in a player’s services will captivate them and hand them the motivation and confidence to push for the new adventure. This strategy will certainly convince several players to join Guardiola in his long term goal of shaping City into an European giant.

Supporters must know how superb Pep Guardiola is at his job and appreciate his efforts instead of slagging him off for a rather disappointing first season. City are going nowhere but upwards under him and will not be stopped any time soon.
