Gabriel Jesus was the savior of Manchester City's season. Now he might be out for the season. After the Brazilian had to leave Monday's Premier League match against AFC Bournemouth with a foot injury, many thought it was just a precautionary measure.
As it turns out, it's actually a very serious foot injury.
#GabrielJesús will miss 2 to 3 months with a broken 5th metatarsal. #ManchesterCity . Bad luck.

That is a very reliable source reporting some pretty horrible news. A broken 5th metatarsal is a bad injury for a footballer, and if Gabriel does miss three months, he's basically out for the season. If Jesus misses only two months, he'll be back for a potential UEFA Champions League semifinal and the final weeks of Premier League matches.
Jesus has been City's best players since making his debut against Tottenham Hotspur. In just five appearances, four of those as a starter, the 19-year-old scored three goals and recorded two assists, and had been playing so well he put Sergio Agüero on the bench.
Life is never nice to Manchester City. Never.
