How should Manchester City line up against Newcastle to win an 18th Premier League game in a row?

Merry Christmas, y’all! Well, Christmas is actually over, but still, hope you had a good one! Manchester City return to action on Wednesday night in Newcastle upon Tyne as they search for an 18th consecutive Premier League victory away to Newcastle United.

City have obviously done quite well during this busy period in December, both in results and quality of performances despite constant changes to the lineup due to rotation and injuries. Pep Guardiola continues to do a masterful job coaching this team, and there are three games left before the league takes a little break and Pep is able to rest all of his players.

Against the Magpies, the Blues face an interesting challenge. Playing at St. James’ Park is never easy, and Rafa Benítez is a very good manager who loves to come up with good defensive plans in big matches. It’ll be a nice coaching battle, and Pep will surely go with a strong lineup to make sure he wins it.

And we want to know your lineup choice! Please fill out the attached form below with the 11 players you want to see starting against Newcastle, and which formation you think Pep should choose. Again, this is not your prediction, it’s your choice. We’ll share your decisions tomorrow in our Predicted Lineups article. You can check out how others have voted under the form.

Here’s a mobile-friendly link to the form if you want to vote via phone/tablet. Choose wisely!
