Man City consider summer move for Tarkowski
Today’s rumors start off with news that Manchester City and Arsenal both quite look the like of Burnley defender James Tarkowski.
In fact, so much so, that City are even considering splashing the cash on the 25-year-old, who is happy at Burnley but may be tempted by Champions League football.
According to The Times, Burnley would not be willing to part ways with Tarkowski this winter but may sell next year if the price is right.
Pep puts Sanchez move on hold
Over at Goal, the news is that Pep Guardiola has put a January move for Alexis Sanchez on hold, due to concerns over “squad harmony.”
Pep still wants to work with the Chilean, but unless one of his forwards picks up an injury, will leave any possible transfer until the summer.
City’s priority this winter is, therefore, a centre-back and Virgil van Dijk is their top target, over Inigo Martinez.
PSG to make £25m Sanchez move
Sanchez is also the talk of the Daily Express, who reckon that Paris Saint-Germain will offer £25 million for the Arsenal star this winter.
PSG will sell Edinson Cavani in order to make room for Sanchez and met his representatives in the French capital last week.
However, they also reckon that Sanchez has already made his decision, and that’s to move to City not Paris
City agree deal to sign Jesus Medina
And finally, today’s rumors conclude with news that the club have agreed a £3 million deal to sign 20-year-old attacking midfielder Jesus Medina from Libertad.
The Guardian report that the young Paraguayan will sign a long-term contract but is likely to head off on loan to New York City FC or Girona.
