Manchester City are busy trying to secure the futures of several key men and are close to deals for Gabriel Jesus, Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho, according to UK reports.

Jesus is to sign a new two-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2023, and which will also include a big pay rise, according to ESPN.

The Brazilian will earn more than £100,000 a week with his new deal, and is seen as a crucial part of City’s future.

Meanwhile, De Bruyne and Fernandinho are also expected to put pen to paper soon, according to BBC Sport.

The Belgian is “close to agreeing a new long-term contract” with City wanting to reward him for his superb performances this season.

Likewise, Fernandinho will also be given a new deal. He is out of contract next summer but City obviously want to retain his services.

It’s a good move by City to secure their players on long-term contracts, and hopefully the official announcements will arrive soon.
