If the 12 consecutive wins in the Premier League and the 21 games without a loss in all competitions this season isn’t enough good news for Manchester City fans, they got a new one on Thursday morning.

Spanish Magician and club legend David Silva has committed his future to club until 2020 by signing a one-year extension to his current contract.

If he’s able to play until the end of his contract, Silva will complete a decade at the club, where he’s been incredibly successful and will continue to be for the next three years.

Silva commented on his new deal to the club’s official website:

“I am so happy to have committed my future to City. I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved at City in my seven-and-a-half seasons here and with Pep in charge, I feel we are in a great position to win trophies this season and beyond.

“The style of football we are playing is a pleasure to be a part of and I look forward to winning more titles in the years to come.”

We love you, David. May the next three years be even better than the previous seven.
