As Manchester City continue to chase the record of consecutive wins in the Premier League, the matches get tougher and tougher. After a hard-fought win against a very tough Huddersfield Town on Sunday, the Blues have to prepare quickly for the next challenge.

On Wednesday night at the Etihad City welcome Southampton for what promises to be another really difficult game for Pep Guardiola and his men. The Saints haven’t had the best of starts to the season but their confidence is high following a 4-1 thrashing of Everton on Sunday.

Southampton have a very good defense and will not be easy to break down, and they’ve now found their scoring touch as well. Southampton drew 1-1 the last time they visited the Etihad, so they can definitely make things very difficult and Pep will no doubt go with a very strong lineup for this one.
