After successfully securing top spot in their Champions League group in midweek, Manchester City are back in Premier League action with a rare Sunday appearance, this time with a trip to Huddersfield Town.
The Blues are the leaders and have a very healthy eight-point gap over Manchester United after the first 12 games. City have won 10 straight in the league and have looked amazing in every match, but this weekend will not be easy. The Terriers have made a strong start to their debut season in the Premier League and they’re just one of two teams to have beaten United so far, and it was at the John Smith’s Stadium, site of this Sunday’s game.
City will need to be very good to get three points in this one, and after resting many of his top players against Feyenoord on Tuesday Pep Guardiola will most likely go with his strongest possible lineup to show how much he respects Huddersfield and how tough he expects this game to be.
And we want to know your lineup choice! Please fill out the attached form below with the 11 players you want to see starting against Huddersfield, and which formation you think Pep should choose. Again, this is not your prediction, it’s your choice. We’ll share your decisions tomorrow in our Predicted Lineups article. You can check out how others have voted under the form.
Here’s a mobile-friendly link to the form if you want to vote via phone/tablet. Choose wisely!
