According to the Mirror, Premier League clubs Manchester City and Everton have asked to be informed if Arsenal plan to sell midfielder Jack Wilshere, who is currently making Arsene Wenger feel regretful for sending him to AFC Bournemouth on loan.
Wilshere was shipped out due to his multiple injury problems, which tarnished his chances to perform well in North London; however, he has remained injury-free with the Cherries and has impressed with very good performances, especially in the past few weeks. Gunners fans are noticing and using this as another reason to be critical of their long time manager.
Pep Guardiola and Ronald Koeman are apparently keeping an eye on the current situation and will attempt to negotiate a deal with the Englishman if Wenger decides to sell him to another Premier League club.
It would be rather disappointing if Pep Guardiola were to go through and pursue Wilshere's signing. His unfortunate injury record should prove that it would be a poor decision to have faith in him, even though he appears to have shaken off his health problems at Bournemouth.
It's quite clear that City should attempt to strike a deal with midfielders of higher quality once it is needed, but at the moment with Yaya Touré in stunning form and the return of Ilkay Gundogan from injury next season, a player in that position is not really required.
Sorry, Jack.
