Gabriel Jesus will wear his favorite shirt number at Manchester City, now that he's signing is finally official. The 19-year-old has been #33 since his first day at Palmeiras, and even though he's the starting striker for the Brazilian national team and uses the iconic number nine shirt for the Seleção, he's sticking with his favorite kit in his new club.
Jesus explained why he's using #33 at City:
“I told the club, I asked if the number 33 was available, they said yes, and I chose it. I’ve asked for it. It’s the number I’ve been wearing since I turned professional, it’s a number I ended up with and I really liked, and I intend to wear it for many years."

The Brazilian striker has been registered by the FA and the Premier League, and is available to be in the squad for Saturday's match against Tottenham Hotspur.
Good luck, Jesus!
