It's officially official. It's finally a reality. It's exciting. Jesus has arrived.

Brazilian national team starting striker and 19-year-old prospect Gabriel Jesus has finally been registered by The FA, which has allowed Manchester City to announce Jesus as a Citizen for the first time.

Sporting director Txiki Begiristain is very excited to welcome Gabriel to the club:

“Gabriel is a technically gifted player who was chased by some of Europe’s biggest clubs and we are delighted he decided to join City. He has the potential to become one of the best attacking players in the game and we look forward to watching him develop further here in Manchester.

"I think with Pep Guardiola as manager and the squad we already have here, Jesus has the perfect platform to reach his full potential.”

Gabriel was signed from Palmeiras in the summer for £27 million, and stayed in Brazil to win the national championship and was awarded the Golden Ball as the best player in the country in 2016.

Jesus has been training with the squad since his arrival in Manchester two weeks ago, and is expected to be in the squad for Saturday's crucial Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Jesus is here, y'all. Can he become City's savior this season?
