Recent reports suggest that Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille are interested in bolstering their squad with two Manchester City players along with interest in West Ham United wantaway Dimitri Payet.
The two City players in question? City fullback Bacary Sagna and midfielder Samir Nasri, currently on loan at Sevilla.
Sagna will be out of contract in just five months, and Marseille will be looking to pounce on the free agent and convince him into a move to his home country, where he would probably see out the rest of his successful career.
Despite being surrounded by some very strange controversy, Samir Nasri has been rejuvenated on his loan at Sevilla. The Frenchman has displayed the same fantastic form from earlier title-winning campaigns in the Premier League with City.
Nasri still has two years remaining in his current City contract, but Sevilla claim they have been given the opportunity to sign him permanently for £16 million at the end of his loan spell. Marseille will hope to swoop in and sway the midfielder to France instead of him staying in Spain or returning to the Etihad.
Since both players appear to not have a future that will last much longer at City, these transfers would be acceptable within the Sky Blue fanbase.
