EVERYBODY wants Aubameyang, but Manchester City don't need him

According to a SPORT BILD report, Real Madrid have dropped out of the race for Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, leaving European giants Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain circling like sharks in hopes of landing his signature.

Despite having their transfer ban lifted, Zinedine Zidane does not see where the Gabonese striker would fit into his plans at Madrid with the likes of Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata providing some good performances at striker.

Pep Guardiola is apparently keeping an eye on Aubameyang's availability, but with a plethora of talent in the striker position at his disposal already, a move is unlikely. Aubameyang is undeniably one of the world’s deadliest strikers, but his favored position is the area that requires absolutely no improvement at the Etihad.

The astronomical fee that would be required could be put to better use by improving the defense. This report is undisputedly false and Pep Guardiola is not in the market for another forward.
