Argentina were headed to an embarrassing loss in their World Cup Qualifying match against Venezuela on Tuesday, but one unlikely Manchester City player came to the rescue,
Defender Nicolas Otamendi scored a late goal in the second half to tie the game up and earn a point for the Albiceleste.

After what happened in the game — Venezuela basically dominated the whole match — this is actually a good result, but it does look like Argentina just cannot play good football without Lionel Messi, even against a weak opponent. New manager Edgardo Bauza has some work to do, and that is clear when Otamendi scores for you.
Sure, it's nice that he's scoring, but he probably shouldn't be... Anyway, well done Nico!
