Dimitri Seluk is quite a character. Yaya Touré's agent simply has no filter, and everything that comes up in his brain goes out of his mouth with very little regard for who is the target of his words.

His latest "rant" happened when he learned that Yaya Touré was left out of City's Champions League squad, a clear sign that the Ivorian is not on Pep Guardiola's permanent plans and the player could be leaving the Citizens in the near future. Touré is in the final year of his contract and is able to sign a pre-deal with any club, and Seluk says that's what will happen.

That's not all he said, however. He says that African football fans will turn on City if Touré leaves and will support United instead — even though United have no African players, but who cares? —, that Yaya Touré has lost a lot of weight, and also took quite a few shots at Guardiola.

"[Manchester City] will lose a lot of millions of supporters from Africa because of this decision from Guardiola. Now they will support Manchester United. A lot of people in Africa say they will never see any more matches of City on TV.’

"Yaya in January can sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs abroad. He will have many offers from clubs. China and America of course they want him but we will have a lot of offers from England and Europe. He is in very good shape, very good condition, I think he lost seven kilograms. Maybe that’s not good enough for Guardiola, but then Zlatan Ibrahimovic wasn’t good enough for him.

"In January we will see. It is three months to wait — no problem. Yaya is a very professional guy."
