Manchester City's third kit has finally been launched, and well... they don't look bad!

Here's some more "technical" details on the kit, as well as a statement from City defender John Stones:

This season, orange horizontal lines overlay the shirt’s violet base.

Accompanied by violet shorts, the eye-catching kit is completed with socks that replicate the colour combination of the new shirt and the Club’s history is also referenced with ‘CITY’ and ‘EST 1894’ stitching on the back of the collar and on the inside of the cuffs.

A black stripe also runs along each flank of the shirt and shorts, which expands with movement to provide enhanced ventilation, while the sock offers additional cushioning around the toes, ankle and heel to provide players with superior comfort.

Stones: “It’s cool – it shows that they’re behind you and they can look good in this season’s ones as well. It’s good for everyone."

City's announcement says this kit will be used on all away matches in Cup competition, meaning the Sky Blues will debut the new third kit on Wednesday's League Cup opener against Swansea City at Liberty Stadium.

What do you think of the kit? Yay or nay?
