The UEFA Champions League match between Manchester City and Borussia Mönchengladbach was supposed to take place on Tuesday at Etihad Stadium, but then it started to rain in Manchester.
But it wasn't your run-of-the-mill rain. It was a flood accompanied by really scary thunder and lightning.

It got worse!

Thankfully, the lightning stopped, and then we were just left with a little bit of water. And by "little bit" I mean A LOT. And by "A LOT" I mean REALLY A LOT. And by "water" I mean ALL THE WATER ON EARTH.

This time-lapse video of the whole raining spectacle is pretty cool:

And while the rain was pouring down, the absolute star of the show was the person who runs the Gladbach Twitter account, who continued to come up with some genius stuff throughout the night:
@ManCity This isn't normal for Manchester, right?

Seriously, this was a really fun experience, even though there was no football being played. The scenes were great, and we're getting a dry pitch with clear skies on Wednesday night at the Etihad to watch a great match. That's the plan, right?
