Manchester City could have had a much easier game against Sunderland, but after a Jermain Defoe goal, the Citizens needed a late goal to escape with a victory. And it happened, in a weird way:

It was the head of poor Paddy McNair, Sunderland's newest signing from Manchester United, that scored an own goal to give City the lead and the victory. Guardiola's team had a tough time in the final minutes, but the dominant performance for most of the match deserved a victory. It needed an own goal, but a goal is a goal.
Thanks, McNair!
