One of the Premier League's most traditional clubs is getting new money, and they are ready to spend a lot of it on some of England's best.
According to a report from the Sun, new Everton owner Farhad Moshiri is keen on making big-money signings this summer, and the Indian millionaire has big ambitions for the club. One of his key signings would be Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, and the England number one could move to the Blue side of Liverpool for as much as £40 million.
Hart is both City and England's undisputed best keeper, and would certainly be a giant addition to the Toffees. Everton is losing American keeper Tim Howard, who left the club after ten years, and Hart would be not only a replacement but the best possible replacement.
Even though Hart is such a great keeper, there is doubt about his continuity with the Citizens. Incoming manager Pep Guardiola wants to bring in one of Barcelona's goalkeepers, either Ter Stegen or Claudio Bravo, to be his starting goal-stopper at City. Guardiola likes to have players with good qualities on the ball in every position, including goalkeeper, and Hart isn't exactly skilled with the ball on his feet.
If a new keeper is brought in along with Guardiola, then Hart would be on the market, and his new destination could be a big-spending Everton.
