Vincent Kompany the Manchester City Captain may be out injured for the Euro 2016 tournament this summer in France but several other Blues players will participate in the Euros and in the Copa America Centenario.
Kompany is out of the Belgium squad but both Kevin De Bruyne and Jason Denayer will be on Marc Wilmots side, which is one of the favorites to win the tournament in France. Both Eliaquim Mangala and Bacary Sagna have been named to the squad for the host nation, while Joe Hart and Raheem Sterling are near locks to make the England selection. Fabian Delph has also been named to the provisional squad but the central midfielder is one of the few England players likely to be cut from the final 23-man squad by Manager Roy Hodgson.
David Silva has been named to the Spain squad inspite of his recent bouts with injury.
As for the Copa American Centenario being held in the United States both Sergio Aguero and Nicholas Otamendi have been named to the Argentina squad.
