Kevin De Bruyne made an impressive return from injury, and he is very satisfied with his first few games back.
The Manchester City playmaker missed nearly three months with a knee problem, and after coming back less than a month ago, the Belgian has been nothing but incredible, delivering amazing performances and literally sending City to its first ever Champions League semifinal.
One would think De Bruyne is very happy with how his comeback is going. Yes, indeed.
“I didn’t know what to expect but the first four games I would say have been almost perfect. We won three of four games and went through to the semi-finals.
“It’s the first time in five or six years I’ve been injured for that amount of time, so it was strange in the beginning to be on the sidelines - but you just have to keep your head up and work. In the end I was lucky with nine weeks – it could have been six months."

“It’s when everything comes together. I feel good in the team, I feel happy outside of the pitch, everything is going fine so all these reasons give me a good feeling to play good and play on the pitch without other things in my head.”
