Sergio Agüero's hat trick lifted Manchester City to a first win at Stamford Bridge since February of 2010. The Citizens were pushed in the first 30 minutes by Chelsea but following Aguero's initial goal set up by a well-timed counter-attack, the home side wilted. Kevin De Bruyne stood out against his former club while Yaya Toure and Fernandinho were able to control the central midfield in way we have not seen away from home in the Premier League for months. The victory takes the Citizens at least for now back into 3rd place in the league.
Aguero's hat-trick took him eight goals total in eleven matches against Chelsea and 33 goals in 44 matches versus clubs from London.
