The Blues look to keep on rolling at Stamford Bridge.

Coming off a historic win in midweek against PSG in the Champions League, the Citizens are looking to keep the recent good form alive today in a date with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The last time these two sides met in the league was very early in the season and that match saw City dominate a hapless Jose Mourinho side to the tune of a 3-0 victory. But as mentioned, that was a long while back. A lot has changed since then and Manuel Pellegrini will want to expand on the current good form as well as potentially put more points between City and 5th place.

Still, it is tough to predict how either manager will lay out their starting XI's as Chelsea seem content with seeing the season out while City have a new Champions League challenge rapidly approaching on the horizon with a traffic jam of league matches before then. Thus, Pellegrini will have decisions to make regarding fatigue, form, and match priority.

How to watch

City XI:

Hart, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Mangala, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Toure, Nasri, De Bruyne, Navas, Aguero

City bench:

Caballero, Sagna, Demichelis, Fernando, Delph, Bony, Iheanacho

Chelsea XI:

Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Ivanovic, Rahman, Mikel, Fabregas, Willian, Loftus-Cheek, Pedro, Diego Costa

A few changes for City then as Kolarov and Zabaleta replace Clichy and Sagna respectively, Yaya Toure returns for Fernando, and David Silva's ankle injury sees Samir Nasri pick up another league start. Given the upcoming fixture congestion it is no surprise to see a few players given rest where possible.
