Manchester City FA Cup 5th Round Match at Stamford Bridge Set

Manchester City will face Chelsea in the 5th Round of the FA Cup on Sunday February 21 at Stamford Bridge. Kickoff time is 4pm BST. The Citizens have previously faced Chelsea five times in the FA Cup, with City emerging victories on four of those meetings. The most recent meeting in 2014 came just weeks after Chelsea had completed a Premier League double by beating City at The Etihad - but Manuel Pellegrini's men exacted swift revenge winning that match.

The previous season, Manchester City had defeated Chelsea 2-1 in the FA Cup Semifinal at Wembley. It would be Roberto Mancini's last victory in the FA Cup, a competition which he led the Citizens to victory in 2011. City would be defeated by Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup Final less than a month later. That match with its improbable result led to City's top brass sacking Mancini two days later. Manuel Pellegrini was named his replacement shortly thereafter.
