Manchester City have reportedly made an offer for Real Madrid midfielder Isco, a longtime transfer target, according to reports from Diario Gol.

Always according to the reports, City will face competition for the Spaniard, however, as Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal will also be interested in adding Isco to their midfield.

Real Madrid were willing to sell the attacking midfielder last summer which will give many clubs hope. The possibilities of City landing his signature will be quite high. Pep Guardiola’s growing side is tantalizing, the salaries are always great, and Isco will surely be tempted.

The 24-year-old could be extremely useful for the Sky Blues. With Yaya Touré’s time at the club running out and more questions being raised over the ability of Jesús Navas, Isco could get a hefty amount of playing time.

As of now, this is only a rumor but there is no doubt that it would be a mouth-watering acquisition. Manchester City’s midfield is already filled with talent, and to add a player of Isco’s quality would make Guardiola’s side a terrifying prospect in English and European competition.
