The Champions League will return only in 2017 after the round of matches this week, so we have to value the chance of listening to that anthem and watching those magical European nights for the last time this year.
Manchester City welcome Celtic FC to Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night for the Group C finale for both teams, and this game essentially doesn't matter. City are locked into second place and Celtic will finish last, so the points don't affect either team. What will have an effect is the actual victory, the winning feeling, the confidence that comes from being better than your opponent and scoring more goals that them and listening to your fans celebrating.
Pep Guardiola is addicted to vitory, no matter how important the game feels, and he will demand the best from the players he selects. Celtic want to finish their Champions League campaign in a positive note, and will also play hard and look for points. Without the pressure of getting points, both teams want to compete and win, and that will make for some very fun 90 minutes.
