Despite being shipped away from Manchester City in favor of Claudio Bravo, Joe Hart could find himself in contention for the Premier League once more next summer as the on-loan goalkeeper continues to draw interest in England.
The English international was unceremoniously moved to Torino by incoming manager Pep Guardiola due to his insistance on playing from the back and has since severed his ties with the club, after publicly criticising his transfer. However, after some good showings in Italy, the shot-stopper is drawing interest from Chelsea, who are expecting Thibaut Courtois to leave for Real Madrid in the summer.
Despite receiving a transfer ban, the Madrid side are eligible to make signings, and from the looks of it, Chelsea's number one is very high on Zinedine Zidane's wish list. The Belgian has already spent 4 years playing for Real Madrid's cross-town rivals Atletico, and would be comfortable with a move back to La Liga.
While a return to the Premier League would be entirely dependent on Real Madrid, it remains to be seen whether Manchester City would be willing to do business with a direct rival in Chelsea, especially when it is someone with Joe Hart's quality.
Whether it's the best possible solution is anybody's guess but Hart could be back to the Premier League next summer and that is certainly some food for thought.
