Manchester City and their hunt for a full back continues as they have been linked to veteran Darijo Srna by Mundo Deportivo.

The 34-year-old currently plays his football at Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk. Pep Guardiola admires the Croatian and could make a move for him in the quickly approaching January transfer window.

Darijo is reportedly also a target of Spanish giants Barcelona. This will make for quite the competition. City fans could be in for another drawn out transfer saga as Pep will do everything in his power to lure Srna to the Etihad over the Camp Nou.

Manchester City have multiple advantages over Barcelona in the battle for the right back’s signature. The Sky Blues arguably have the greatest manager in the world which is a mouth-watering prospect for any player.

The competition of the Premier League could also be very tempting. At the age of 34, hanging up the boots in such a competitive league would be a dream come true for any player.

Of course, these reports are still just rumors and Guardiola could still decide to pursue younger options.
