Manchester City will be looking to follow up on a famous UEFA Champions League victory against Barcelona in midweek with an important Premier League victory against Middlesbrough on Saturday. Boro are dangerous, City need three points to stay on top of the league and Pep Guardiola wants to prove that the Barça win was not just a one-time thing.
Guardiola and his men pulled off a sensational result against the best team in football, and City proved they can compete with the best teams in Europe that day. But there are things to improve and winning games is huge while the evolution continues, and after a six-game winless streak, City hope to reach the international break with three wins on the bounce.
As we saw on Tuesday, City have the talent and the coach to beat any team on Earth, including Middlesbrough. It won't be an easy game, but it'll be fun and City are favorites. This will be a very good football match, and you just cannot miss it.
