Gabriel Jesus will join Manchester City over the winter transfer window after the 19-year-old forward led Palmeiras to the Brazilian championship..

Pep Guardiola paid £27 million in August for the Brazilian’s services after beating out Barcelona. He scored 12 and assisted 5 goals in the league, and he throttled Palmeiras to their first title in 22 years.

“Unfortunately this was my last game here. This is not goodbye, this is a ‘see you later,’” said Jesus.

Gabriel is known for his skills and finishing, but he is especially talented at contributing to the defensive side of the ball. However, this aggressiveness is quite reckless at times, as he led the Brazilian side with 11 yellow cards. He is also caught offsides often and lacks discipline.

These are just minor issues which should be fixed in little time. As the teenager matures, his natural talent will shine through, and he will be able to help out the first team as soon as possible.
