It has recently been reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has put a sex curfew on the City squad.

Samir Nasri confirmed the info in an interview with L’Equipe during the international break while with the France squad. The winger has been on loan with Sevilla this season.

The curfew entails that players are not allowed to do the business past midnight to avoid fatigue and muscle injuries. Unusual, but effective according to Nasri.

“He told us this is how he managed to get the best out of Messi and Lewandowski, and for them to avoid the maximum number of muscular injuries.”

Guardiola has placed other restrictions on City players in the past, such as a no pizza policy throughout the club, which used to be a favorite snack of players like Sergio Aguero while under Manuel Pellegrini. These strict dietary policies sent Nasri out on loan, as he struggled to conform to Pep’s demands.

Pep’s madness has worked in the past, so fans shouldn’t be quick to judge this plan. City’s next match will be played against Crystal Palace on Saturday at Selhurst Park.
