Manchester City’s injury woes are continuing as new singing Claudio Bravo has limped off of the pitch during Chile’s clash with Colombia.

The shot-stopper collided with an onrushing full-back, forcing him to end his match prematurely at the sixty-fourth minute. Although the thirty-three-year-old was able to walk to the sidelines, he seemed to be in extreme pain. La Roja held off the Colombian opposition for the rest of the match to earn themselves a 0-0 scoreline.

Pep Guardiola could be forced to start Argentinean veteran Willy Caballero in goal for City’s coming fixtures, however, the fans will likely not be discouraged by this. Caballero has won the hearts of Sky Blue supporters after his heroic performance between the sticks to bring home the Capital One Cup. His recent wondrous display against Barcelona raised questions among supporters over who should be City’s number one.

Guardiola will hope that Bravo’s substitution is only precautionary, and the injury will surely be assessed in the coming days.
