Manchester City are likely to undergo a major squad overhaul next summer — and one Italian team will try and take advantage of it.

According to multiple reports in England, Pep Guardiola will not renew any of the contracts of players currently in the last year of their deals, except for midfielder Fernandinho. Willy Caballero, Yaya Touré and Jesus Navas are three of those, but Serie A giants AS Roma are interested in the other three.

Defenders Bacary Sagna, Pablo Zabaleta and Gael Clichy have been watched closely by the Giallorossi in the last few months, and Roma will try to get at least two, if not all three players next summer. Since their contracts will run out in the summer, any team can sign them for free, and the Manchester City pedigree is certain to help the departing defenders in earning a contract with big European clubs.

Guardiola will look to sign younger, better full-backs next summer, which makes sense. Zabaleta is a legend, but he's not good enough anymore. Clichy and Sagna are solid players, but Pep needs more talent in those crucial positions in his system. Good luck in Italy, guys. Roma will probably get all of you.
