WATCH: Pep Guardiola congratulates Kevin De Bruyne by kicking his butt

Kicking players in the butt? Not a problem for Pep

Manchester City trained on Tuesday for the last time before the Champions League match against Barcelona, which takes place on Wednesday at Camp Nou. Pep Guardiola took charge of the session, as always.

And apparently he was happy with what he saw from Kevin De Bruyne, because Pep did with the Belgian something VERY WEIRD he has done throughout his managerial career:

Yes, you can see Pep Guardiola, the greatest coach in football today, kicking Kevin De Bruyne's buttocks. If it looks strange, it's because it really is. But it's a habit of Pep's, a way of showing his appreciation for his players and his way of being funny. A hug and a kick in the butt is Pep's way of saying "Congratulations!", but he can't be a normal person and just say the words.

And we shouldn't be surprised by Pep kicking City players in the ass, because he promised he'd do that in his first ever interview as City manager. It's weird, but it's the Pep way. If it makes De Bruyne kick Barcelona's ass, then good!
