Sergio Aguero has made it through Argentina's World Cup Qualifier against Paraguay injury free, however, it was not a good performance by him, or the squad. Bauza’s squad went 1-0 down in the 18th minute, and was never able to draw level.

Their best chance was a penalty given away by Paraguay’s Paulo Da Silva for a handball, which Agüero stepped up to take. Unfortunately, the Manchester City star man was unable to convert from the spot as Justo Villar dived to his left to block the shot. Just a minute later, Sergio got himself a yellow card.

Overall, it was an extremely disappointing performance, however, City fans will be happy to know that Sergio played the full ninety minutes without picking up an injury. It was a very bizarre move by Bauza to start him, and as a diehard Sky Blue, I am very irritated by it. Logically, Paulo Dybala should have been given the start over a half-injured Kun.

Sergio will now return home to Manchester where he might get an ear-full from Pep for playing with the possibility of aggravating an injury. Agüero will most likely start up front against Everton on Saturday.
