Manchester City fans will be relieved to hear that earlier reports of Sergio Aguero injuring his calf have turned out to be fairly trivial. It was announced that the Blues’ star striker had a pain in his left calf, and would be replaced by Atletico Madrid’s Nicolas Gaitan. He was set to miss Argentina’s World Cup qualifier against Paraguay, but according to Sergio, he is doing just fine. Here is what he told Diario Olé:
“I’m better, we did tests, I did well and I’m trying to get as fit as possible for Tuesday. Bauza has the decision: for Tuesday I’ll be available. I’m much better. After the Peru game I had two days to recover and [on Sunday] I played a little football. You always want to play in the team and try to do your best. For now I feel good physically.”
