West Ham 2-2 Manchester City: Joe Hart's Heroics Save City Again

It was one of the best saves you'll ever see. Dimitri Payet's free-kick was headed to the top corner and would have broken a 1-1 deadlock. But out of thin air, England's number one Joe Hart made the save of the season, and a stop that could win the Blues the title since today's point was vital.

"That save did feel good from Dimitri Payet," Hart said.

West Ham appeared the better side much of the match and Hart was kept on his toes thanks to defensive errors and midfield mistakes. Dimitri Payet demonstrated again why many feel he might be the most influential signing of the season in the Premier League as he was the Hammers maestro. A double from Sergio Aguero allowed the points to be split in a thoroughly entertaining match.

Hart reflected on the result.

"I had to move my feet quickly. It was a great game of football. I thought it was a brilliant game. They played football. It was great the way Enner Valencia was attacking.

"Sergio Aguero is a killer - even though he is not at the standard he says is his best, he's still scoring. We've come from behind. A draw was a fair result, a West Ham win would not have been unfair. A City win would have been unfair."

Manchester City sits three points behind Premier League leaders Leicester City after 23 rounds. The Blues have cup business to worry about first with a midweek second-leg League Cup semifinal tie against Everton to worry about. City trails the tie 2-1 entering the home leg.
