Fabian Delph Calls on Blues to Rally Against Palace

Manchester City Midfielder Fabian Delph who did not feature in the scoreless draw against Everton has urged the Blues to rally at the weekend against Crystal Palace.

"I felt we'd done enough to win the game and I think it's a pretty fair shout to say we should have been awarded a penalty as well," said Delph.

"Yaya had a good chance but the keeper made a great save but overall, we created enough chances to have taken all the points but if you can't win, you have to make sure you don't lose. We took a point out of it and now we move on to the next game.

"Palace are a good team with some very athletic players so we'll be in for a tough afternoon, but with the quality we have here, I don't think any poses a threat to us at home. We can eliminate their strengths and then use our own strengths to win the game."

"It's been a strange season so far regarding the points the leading teams have got on the scoreboard so far. Every week teams around us seem to be dropping points at the same time we do so as long as it stays like that or we put the points on the board and they don't, it will eventually work in our favour."
