Manchester City defeated Norwich City 3-0 at Carrow Road on Saturday in the FA Cup Third Round. proper. It was the first multiple goal victory for the Blues away from home in any domestic competition since August. First half goals from Sergio Aguero and Kelechi Iheanacho were supplemented by a second half goal from substitute Kevin De Bruyne. The Blues victory keeps Manchester City in four competitions currently. The fixture congestion however that has stretched the Blues squad will not be relieved by this result - City will be forced to play a fourth round tie just days after the second leg of the League Cup Semifinals against Everton.
