Greetings, fellow Blues. Today's Champions League match sees City travel to Germany to take on a struggling Borussia Monchengladbach side that has found a bit of recent form. After finishing 3rd in last season's Bundesliga, BM (let's abbreviate for convenience sake) have struggled mightily so far, dropping their first five league matches and Champions League opener to Sevilla before picking up wins in their last two league matches.
Thus, City need to be wary of an improving side today. It's also BM's CL home opener, so we can expect a raucous crowd- basically the opposite of an English CL match. With this in mind along with our catalog of injuries, this will be a tricky encounter at an important part of our season.
Juventus take on Sevilla at home in the other group match.

Starting lineup just about as expected with our absentees. Looks like we can finally see that front 6 that we have wanted to see for so long! And how about the bench? Plenty of youth. I would be a bit surprised if Zaba didn't get some game time here, however. And if City have a lead to see out, expect to see Fernando come in and shut up shop as well.
Thoughts on the lineup? Predictions for the match? Comment away!
