Manchester City were handed a tough task in the Capital One Cup Fourth Round as the Blues will play host to fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace. The Blues defeated Sunderland 4-1 at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday to advance to the Fourth Round.
The lone Premier League meeting between the clubs this season was decided by a Kelechi Iheanacho stoppage time winner. The match was fairly evenly fought with both sides creating multiple chances.
That match is also remembered for a spat between the two manager, Manuel Pellegrini and Alan Pardew. It was the latest spat between the two men, with the previous encounters taking place when Pardew managed Newcastle.
