Stevan Jovetic will be leaving Manchester City and joining Inter, managed by former title winning Blues coach Roberto Mancini per a report in the Guardian.  Jovetic, whose career at City has been underwhelming to say the least will join the Italian giants initially on loan and then will be forced to buy the player for £10.25m .

This is a similar arrangement to the one City struck with Valencia last summer involving Alvaro Negredo who was initially loaned to the La Liga club but this month was forced to complete a €30 million transfer for the Spanish International striker.

Jovetic started only 8 games for the club in the Premier League over two seasons that were plagued by injury. In recent friendlies, Manager Manuel Pellegrini has deployed new signing Raheem Sterling as an out-and-out striker and the early returns have been promising with the former Liverpool winger scoring three goals in as many starts. Since Sterling can provide depth up front as well as pace in wide areas, Jovetic was made expendable.
