In a somewhat surprising development, City have finalized Angelino's season long loan deal to MLS-club NYCFC. Pending receipt of his ITC and his P1 visa, he will be available for selection on July 8th, the opening day of the MLS transfer window opens.
The final fixture date of the MLS regular season is currently scheduled for October 25th and with NYCFC struggling for results, the playoffs seem a distant dream. That means a) City appear to have found a destination that will afford the highly rated Academy product that can give him regular minutes at a competition above what he'd be playing for EDS and b) that he should return to City sometime during this Premier League season, hopefully having impressed and fighting for a spot on the bench.
Angelino was a constant bright spot in City's EDS team last season, linking up well with City's star in the making left-winger, Brandon Barker. If you haven't gotten a chance to see him, here's a fantastic video of his best moments.
