According to this report from earlier tonight, Inter (and former City manager, Roberto Mancini) have reopened talks with Stevan Jovetic and are hopeful of completing the move. City are said to only be interested in a permanent sale.
Since joining City two years ago in Pellegrini's first window at the club, Jovetic has missed 175 days to injury -- a truly incredible amount. Worse still, he's not the sort of player -- like Augero, for example -- who can immediately come back into the side and make an impact. There's obviously a talented player hidden among the injuries, but whether that player can ever consistently perform at City remains little more than a pipe dream at this moment.
What do you think, would City be better served cutting ties with the Montenegrin forward or should Txiki be more patient with a signing that excited most of the fan base just two years ago?
