Report: Pep Guardiola Out At Bayern, To Manage Manchester City

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has come under fire this season for his stubborn tactical approach. According to a report from Bein Sports, though, City supporters won't have to worry about Pellegrini much longer as they have reported that current Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has reached a preliminary agreement with City.

The move would make sense for both sides, as Guardiola's tenure at Bayern has turned sour due to a combination of injuries and poor play, while City failed to secure a trophy in any competition and haven't met expectations despite being on the verge of securing another year of Champions League competition.

ProSoccerTalk has reported that the Guardiola report is merely a rumor, but the final weeks of City's season will certainly be interesting with reports like these surfacing. Whether those reports are legitimate or not? Well, that remains to be seen, so let's not start writing any songs about the man just yet.
